Role
Peter is a Partner in the Corporate Recovery team and works from the firm’s Manchester office.
Peter’s areas of expertise include:
- Advising businesses and individuals in all aspects of commercial litigation, including breach of contract, banking disputes, professional negligence and retention of title claims;
- Advising secured lenders, including professional negligence claims against valuers and solicitors, possession proceedings, debt recovery and insolvency;
- Advising insolvency practitioners on their rights and obligations within formal insolvency proceedings, including with regard to retention of title claims and claims against former Directors and others in respect of antecedent transactions and misfeasance;
- Advising insolvency practitioners or purchasers in corporate recovery transactions, including pre-packaged sales out of administration;
- Advising distressed businesses, Directors or individuals in all aspects of insolvency.
Experience
Peter joined Taylors in 2014 from Linder Myers where has was a Partner. Prior to that, Peter headed up the Corporate Recovery and Commercial Litigation departments of SNG Commercial Law, where he trained.
He was recommended in the 2013 Legal 500 for Corporate Recovery and Insolvency, which noted his "technical" ability.

Peter enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, particularly football. He is a season ticket holder at Manchester City. He lives in South Manchester with his wife and daughter.

A variety of Summer jobs, including working in a warehouse, as a market trader, in a clothes shop and in a petrol station.

Spend time with my wife and daughter, go to the football and possibly have the occasional beer or glass of wine.

Voodoo Ray by A Guy Called Gerald

Pablo Zabaleta, because he is the man
6. If you were stranded on a desert island, what two luxury items would you take?
My iPhone and a TV with Sky Sports

It would need to be someone bald, but preferably Jason Statham or Bruce Willis rather than Danny DeVito!
