Andy Herricks Corporate PartnerRole
Andy is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with almost 20 years’ experience advising clients across the North West. As Corporate Partner he handles various types of corporate transactions from share sales, acquisitions and MBOs through to advising on complex shareholders’ agreements, re-organisations, share buy-backs and de-mergers.
He acts mainly for entrepreneurs and owner-managers across the region and speaks to decision-makers on a daily basis. Andy also advises creative clients who are looking to protect or exploit an idea or process or to develop a brand.
Andy works closely with accountants, bankers and insolvency practitioners and has developed a niche in advising banks and mid-tier lenders on transactions generally and on perfecting their security.
As a blunt Mancunian he gives sensible, straight-forward advice on complex legal matters. He does not offer black and white legal advice. Years of experience have taught him to be commercial and to look at deals and problems from every angle and to suggest solutions to clients.
Experience
Andy trained in Manchester with Davies Arnold Cooper and spent time at Keoghs and Glaisyers before founding his own firm, Garricks, in September 2008.
